Before your first meetup
Do I need to register?+
No. There is no registration form and no need to message ahead. Choose a session and come to Cỏ Quán Café.
How much does it cost?+
There is no club participation fee. You only pay the café for whatever you order.
My English is basic. Can I still join?+
Absolutely. Beginners are welcome. People use a mix of English and Vietnamese, and the community is there to help—not to grade you.
Can foreigners join?+
Yes. International visitors frequently join, and the mix of local and international perspectives is a big part of the club.
Do I have to arrive exactly on time?+
Arriving near the start makes introductions easier, but you can still join if you are a little late.
What happens when I arrive?+
Order a drink, tell café staff you are here for the language club, and find the group. A host or regular can help you join a table.
Is Saturday English Club 99,000 VND?+
No. The 99,000 VND minimum only applies if you reserve a seat for the café’s Acoustic Show. English Club participants only pay for their normal drinks.
